A well-recognized physician at UVA Orthopedics Center, Dr. Abhinav “Bobby” Chhabra has built a career defined by surgical expertise, academic achievement, and impactful leadership. Known for his contributions to hand and upper extremity surgery, Dr. Abhinav “Bobby” Chhabra has also played an important role in mentoring the next generation of physicians while driving forward clinical and organizational excellence within a major academic health system.
Dr. Chhabra is a professor and chair of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Virginia, where he also holds the Lillian T. Pratt Distinguished Professorship. In addition to his leadership within the department and serves as director of the UVA Orthopaedic Center. His influence extends across clinical operations, strategic planning, and institutional growth.
Dr. Abhinav “Bobby” Chhabra’s contributions have been recognized with several honors, including the University of Virginia School of Medicine Master Clinician Award and the David P.
